How to move photo slideshows to a new computer?
Moving photo slideshow projects from an old computer to a new one is not complex, even though you must pay attention to some critical issues. Please follow these steps to transfer your slideshows.

2. Move source photos and music to new computer
This step is easy but totally necessary.
Since the .pdm file only saves links to the photos and music used for slideshow, you must move all source files together with the project files to the new computer, and follow the next step to make sure the Photo DVD Maker program can locate and reload source photos and music.
3. Repair the path to source files
This step is critical. For instance, if you have created a slideshow for your mom’s birthday and the photos in the old computer were stored in this directory:
D:\My Photos\Mom’s Birthday (in the old computer)
Then in the new computer you should create a “My Photos” folder in the Local Disc (D:), and then create a “Mom’s Birthday” subfolder to host the source photos, so that all these photos in your new computer are also stored in the directory of
D:\My Photos\Mom’s Birthday (in the new computer)

Repeat the above steps until you move all source photos and music to the directories that are the same as in the old computer.
Now open your slideshow project, the program will load all photos and music successfully. You can continue to edit and create gorgeous slideshow DVD and slideshow videos.
4. What if the source files were not in the same directory as in the old computer?
Well, in this case, Photo DVD Maker will not be able to load photos or music for the slideshow project.
You will see this message reporting details of the missing photos:

You will find daisy images (below) show up in the slideshow, they represent missing photos. You have to add photos and music manually, or, more wisely, restore the source images to the old directory as suggested above.
